Chris Danny Boykins, Sr., 42 of Suffolk, VA passed away the morning of November 5, 2023.
Chris had recently given his life to the Lord and was a new member of Zion Destiny House of Praise where the Pastor Designate is Elder Ebony Hill Williams.
Chris is preceded in death by his son Ja'Mel Boykins, mother Janice Boykins, stepmother Barbara Jones, 4 uncles and 1 aunt.
Chris leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father Charlie Jones of Holland, his children De'Von Eason, Chris Boykins, Jr. and Demetris Eason all of Suffolk. 5 grandchildren; Chris III, Aniyla, Lyric, Loyal, and Ciyan. 5 brothers; Marcus (Jennifer) Boykins, Randell (Sheneka) Boykins, Maurice Boykins, Talmadge Ricks, Roger Ricks, 2 sisters; Chiquita (Brian) Scott, and Angela (George) Hayes along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, family, friends, and his special friend Angel Hunter.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2023 at Gates of Heaven COGIC. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
