Charles Albert Carroll Jr., born April 2, 1963, in Ivor, Virginia, passed away on November 7, 2025, at his family home, surrounded by love and legacy. Born and raised in Ivor, VA, Albert went to Windsor High School and was a proud member of United Faith Ministries. Albert was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Whenever you were around him, you knew it was going to be a good time, full of laughter. His life was marked by resilience, humor, and deep devotion to family.

He was born to the late Charles Albert Carroll Sr. and Christine Binns Wynn, and was lovingly raised with the guidance of his stepfather, the late William H. Wynn Jr.

Charles was preceded in death by his beloved son, Charles Albert Carroll III, affectionately known as "Trey," whose memory remained a cherished part of his heart.

Charles leaves behind his granddaughter, Jamie Langley, who brought joy and pride to his life. He is also survived by his devoted sister, Joyce Sampson of Hampton, VA, and five brothers whose lives were enriched by his presence: George King of Suffolk, VA, William A. Wynn III (Vanessa) of Petersburg, VA, Ricky L. Wynn (Shelly) of Newport News, VA, Steven Carroll of Newport News, VA, and Lennon Wynn (Charlotte) of Hampton, VA. Albert’s life also left a lasting impact on his host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember his laughter, his loyalty, and the warmth he brought into every room.

Though his earthly journey has ended, we celebrate the life of Albert Carroll, knowing he is content with his place beside his parents and his son. The imprint of his love and spirit remains etched in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy lives on in the stories shared, the bonds strengthened, and the memories held dear.

We love and miss you Uncle Albert!
