Bryan Edwards

Bryan Elias Edwards, 36 departed this life on February 18, 2024, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. He was the son of the late Elias Giles and the late Mariette Edwards Giles. Bryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bishop Willie Giles, Jr., his maternal grandfather, Raymond Edwards, Sr. He was also preceded in death by three Aunts, Darlene Giles Graham, Marilyn Giles and Shelly Edwards Boose and Uncles, Julius Edwards and Raymond Edwards, Jr.

Bryan, affectionately called “Bry-Bry” graduated from Kings Fork High School and went directly into the workforce. He found the most pleasure in hanging out with his friends, watching wrestling, cooking meals and baking. He was shy in his own way, but every now and then, you would get a big grin from him especially if he were watching Good Times. He was determined to turn some things around in his life when sickness struck him suddenly. Now he is resting in eternal peace, no more suffering no more pain.

Bryan leaves to cherish his memory his children, Tayden Elias Edwards, Bryan Elias Edwards, Jr., Nyasia Ramona Edwards, Tylen Dominque Edwards, Layla Marie Edwards, Khyree Tre ‘Quinn Elias Edwards and Ni’Mayah Antionette Edwards, his loving and devoted sister, Nicole Edwards. He also leaves to cherish his memory his grandmothers, Dorothy Smith, Doretha Giles and Lula Marie Edwards, his uncles, Quinton Whack, Mervin Giles, Gregory Giles, Wyatt Hamlin and Calvin Cotton; aunts, Phyllis Jones(Leroy), Laura Davis( Keith), Aretha Hamlin, Sharon Edwards Reid(Dwayne) and April Edwards; great aunts, a host of cousins and friends and two special women, Charlese Johnson and Kiarra Harrell.

Bryan will be forever loved and always remembered in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held noon, Saturday, March 2, 2024 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
