Bernice Wiggins

Bernice Wiggins, 75, of N. Capital Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Gladys and Ruben Warren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Porter, two brothers, Paul Scott, and Ruben Warren, Jr. and one grandson, Jermaine Warren. She was a member of the Perfecting the Saints, C.O.G.I.C of Chuckatuck, VA where she served as Missionary and Church Mother. She was educated in the Nansemond County School System and was employed by Smithfield Packing Company and also was a Private Duty Nurse. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Patricia Ann Warren (Robert) and Vanessa Fields(James Alfred Fields-deceased) both of Suffolk; two brothers, Thomas Scott and Elder Willie Warren both of Suffolk; four grandchildren, Duriel Fields (Erica), Marshea Warren, Shequita Fields and Kenya Thomas all of Suffolk; one Godson, Terence Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Pastor Don General will deliver the message of comfort.
