After 90 amazing years on this earth, God called home his daughter Beatrice Blow home to be reunited with him. Born in Isle of Wight County, Ms. Blow was born one of 5 children to the late Rufus Blow Sr. and Anna Jane Williams Blow. Ms. Blow moved to Chuckatuck, Virginia when she was a child and resided there until her passing. She graduated from East Suffolk High in 1954. She was employed with Suffolk Public Schools in the food services department and later on went to work with Smithfield Packing where she eventually retired.
Beatrice was predeceased by her parents, all of her siblings Rufus Blow Jr, Frederick Blow, Lorraine Blow Bailey, Wesley Blow, and Sally Jean Blow. She is also predeceased by her son, Filton A Blow and son-in-law Larry Cross.
Beatrice loved the Lord, and everyone around her knew it. She was a faithful member of Little Bethel Baptist Church for many years and participated in various auxiliaries. When she created her family, she brought her children and raised them in the church as well. She raised her family to trust in God and never lean on their own understandings. She loved her Lord and her family.
Ms. Blow leaves behind her children, Feguson Blow, Felicia Cross and Felton Blow Sr, a bonus daughter Jackie Bullock, grandchildren: Tifphanee Boyette, Cassandra Robinson (Sheba), Eboni Blow, Ashley Booth, Felton Blow Jr. (Corey), Avery Stiles, Briana Blow, and Albertha Cross, great-grandchildren: Kamonta Booth, Demarion, Miracle Drummond, Harmonie, Royalty Booth, Marquiest Jr., and Keondra Evans. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends that will miss her dearly.
Ms. Blow had a smile so beautiful because it reflected the love she had for others, faith so strong her favor carried her through multiple illnesses as she beat the odds when doctors said one thing, God showed another, and a heart so pure everyone who came around her could feel the love. She will truly be missed.
