Barbara Gould Thurston, 81, of Chesapeake, VA. Transitioned on July 11, 2026. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 2 p.m.- to 5 p.m. in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Grove Church. Ms. Thurston will be laid to rest at Pentecostal Holiness Church Churchland. The family has entrusted Crocker Funeral Home with services rendered with dignity, compassion, and care.
