Barabus "Buc" Antwon Savage

Barabus Antwon Savage, 45, also known as "Buc" of 612 Roosevelt Drive, Suffolk, departed this life on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He was born on March 7, 1976 in Suffolk, VA. Barabus was known to be the life of the party. He loved spending time with his family and friends, loved to dance and make everyone laugh. If you don't have a "Buc" to tell a story, then you really missed out on something. Barabus was preceded in death by his brother Dailos Savage and grandmother Louise Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife, Micha Savage; mother, JoAnn Green (Herbert), father, Albert Copeland (Annie); godmother, Viola Maddison; one daughter, QuaMicha Savage; two sons, Dailos Savage (Simone) and DayShawn Savage, all of Suffolk, VA; two granddaughters, Melody and Nia Savage, both of Suffolk, VA; two sisters, Shenicka Savage and Aticeya Copeland, both of Suffolk, VA; five brothers, Albert Savage (Dora), Alonzo Boone, Brian Savage, Deshone Savage (Chiquita) and Reshard Savage, all of Suffolk, VA; one godbrother, Darell Lawrence; three sisters-in-law, Krystle Newsome, Dora Savage, and Chiquita Savage, all of Suffolk, VA; one brother-in-law, Senior Chief Shawn Newsome (U.S. Navy); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Barabus is so loved by many and will be sorely missed. A celebration of life will be held 1pm Thursday, May 17, 2021 at Rising St. James PHC 201 North 6th Street, Suffolk, VA.
