Antonio Lewis

Antonio Lewis peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2020 at the age of 61. Antonio who was known as Tony was born in Suffolk, VA on December 9, 1958 to the late Joe Lewis and Velma Lee Lassiter. He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and worked for many years in the construction business with over 30 years as a pipelayer with underground systems, Vico Construction and Tidewater Utilities. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sylvia Clary-Lewis of Newport News, VA; brothers, Anthony Lewis and William Madison of Suffolk; sisters, Tilda Lewis-Grant of Rhode Island, Thomasine Lewis and Jackie Lewis of Suffolk, VA of Suffolk; nieces, Nichell Lewis-Gates (Roland) and Tina Lewis, Jazzlyn Lewis and Ernest Thorpe, Jr.; great niece and nephew, NiErica Flythe and Jashaun Crocker along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m.Saturday, March 7, 2020 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Curtis Mitchell Jr. will deliver the message of comfort.
