On April 25, 2021, God called home one of his angels, Annie Hall Almond. She was born to Clara Bailey and John Hall on July 18, 1931 in Nansemond County. She was the wife of Ray Almond. She was a life long member of Tabernacle Christian Church until her health failed. She was a School Bus Driver in Suffolk for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Almond; mother Clara Bailey; father John Hall; sister Ella Smith and brother Jack Hall. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Edith Davis (Denvip) of Suffolk, Ethel Dickerson (Melvin) of Richmond and Shirley Blow (Andrew) of Houston, TX; son, Melvin Almond ( Pat) of VA Beach; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; a special niece, Clara Scipio; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; a devoted caregiver Deanna Anderson and a special thanks you A&A Home Healthcare. A viewing will be held 12:00 noon- 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 30th at Crocker Funeral Home. The family will receive guest from 5-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held noon, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
