Anita D. Corner

Anita D. Corner, 52, of Adams Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Anita was born March 10, 1968 in Suffolk to the late William Corner Jr. and Lester M (Brogdon) Corner. Anita was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church. She received her formal education with the City of Suffolk public schooling and was a graduate from Suffolk High School. Anita loved her home and found great joy in spending time relaxing with her family. She took pride in assisting with her daily responsibilities at home including being a care giver to her mother and nieces. Her hobbies were puzzles, word find and gaming. Anita strengths were her kind heart and big smile. Anita is survived by her mother, Lester M. Corner, one brother William A. Corner, one sister, Diane B. Corner, two nieces, Brittany D. Corner and Caicee M. Crocker, one uncle Lester L. Brogdon (Phyllis), three aunts, Gloria J. Jackson (Charles), Joyce A. Henry (Wayne) and Annie L. Burrus (Clarence), one great aunt Johnnie M. Brown and a host of loving cousins an family and friends. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.
