Angela Miles

Angela Miles, 52, of Nancy Drive, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy E. Coats and Joseph F. Miles. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Jorene Coats, brother, Mark Coats. She was a graduate of Suffolk High School and retired from Walmart in 2001 after 10 years of faithful and dedicated service as a supervisor. Angela leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Ashley N. Miles (Tae) and Lexus Newsome both of Suffolk; one son, Darryl Newsome, Jr. (Allison) of Wilson, N.C; granddaughter, Samonni Sebron; grandson, Bentley Johnson; godson, Amari Holland; two sisters, Beverly C. Ricks and Cathy C. Holloway (Larry) both of Suffolk; three brothers, Michael Coats (Gail) of Texas and Darick Coats (Tara) and Alton Coats both of Suffolk; two special nephews, Louis Bagley, Jr and Diontae Coats both of Suffolk; special grandchildren, Simarjae Wood (Pee Wee), Riley Norman (Ripie), London Gibson, Karter Gibson, special aunt, Beverly R. Jackson; two special friends, Darlene Parker and Gwen Mitchell; a host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends. A viewing will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel. A celebration of life will be held noon, Saturday, March 6, 2021 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Rev. Newsome will deliver the message of comfort.
