Amy Belinda Knight, 52, of East Washington Street, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Sentara Norfolk, General. She was the daughter of the late Margaret K. Knight and Wilbur Knight. She was a 1985 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and a former member of Tabernacle Christian Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Angel Knight; sisters, Nannie Griffin, Ellen Griffin, and Margaret M. Barnes (Lynbyrd); four uncles, Melvin T. Griffin of Newport News, Kenneth R. Griffin of Suffolk, Fletcher Pugh of Suffolk and Taswell Hurst, Sr. (Sarah) of Washington, D.C; four aunts, Mrs. Alberta Brown (Herbert) of Portsmouth, Mrs. Carolyn Pittman of Norfolk, VA, Alfreda Riddick of Chesapeake, VA and Olivia Bailey of Baltimore, MD; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Doretta Gilliam will deliver the message of comfort.
