Amariyon Nasir Wilson

Amariyon Nasir Wilson, 20, of 3314 Greenwood Avenue, Hampton, VA, 23666 transitioned on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Hampton, VA. He was born on August 27, 2003 in Suffolk, VA to Michael Hill and LaTonyia Wilson. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lloyd II and Ruth Hill; maternal great-grandparents, Bobby and Ruthie Elliott; paternal great-grandparents, Maryland and Mamie Wilkins, and Pastor Lloyd Sr. and Sarah Hill; one uncle, Lloyd Hill, III; great uncles, Bobby Elliott, Sr., Willie Wilkins, Sr., and Maryland Wilkins, Jr., and great aunts, Joyce Wilkins and Sylvin Stevenson.

Amariyon attended Suffolk Public Schools. He loved music and was as aspiring rapper. As a child, he attended church with his aunt, Elder Tracy Hill.

He leaves to cherish his memory parents, Michael Hill and LaTonya Wilson; five sisters, Jalisa Hill, Tiecura Hill, India Wilson, Kayla Hill, and Tytyana Wilson; seven brothers, Joshua Hill, Brandon Colbert, Tiontae Wilson, Michael Hill, Jr, Tashon Wilson, DaQuaris Wilson, and TyQuan Wilson; grandparents, Yvonne and Vernon Goodman, and Elder Melvin and Brenda Wilson; aunts, Lisa Penn (Wesley), Elder Tracy Hill, Tina Hill, and LaRicka Wilson; one uncle, LaKevin Wilson; great aunts, Rosa Carr (Milton), Ethel Savage (James), Pastor Jo L. Mason (Abel), Gloria Hunt, Paula Majette, Sharon Thomas, and Katrina Elliott; great uncles, Robert Wilkins (Celeste), Paul Hill, and Robbie Elliott; great-great aunt, Rev. Dr. Naomi Chambers; step-mother, Shemekia Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A public viewing will be held 1:00-7:00pm, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held 1:00pm, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Rising St. James P.H.C. Pastor Glendell Whitfield of Total Transformation House of Praise will deliver the message of comfort.
