Alvin Lee Parker was born in Suffolk, Virginia on March 27, 1958. Alvin was proceeded in death by his son Dontoris Jontè Parker (Mother: Daisy Copeland Scott). On January 1, 2021 our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend was called home by our Lord and Savior. Alvin was a member and friend of Word For Living Gospel Fellowship Center and served for many years as a Trustee and Deacon under the leadership of the late Bishop Fred Scott and late Pastor Maurice Scott. Alvin was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. In addition to serving in the US Army, Alvin held numerous positions throughout the Hampton Roads area cumulating his career with retirement from Massimo Zanetti Beverage Company in 2017. Alvin will be fondly remembered and cherished by his loving wife of 30 years, Martha Lee Parker; his mother, Dorothy LC Parker; two sons, Antonio Jones (Natasha) (Mother: the late Carman Jones); Devvin JùMar Parker (Mother: Martha Parker); three stepsons, James Scott (Ty-eisha) (Mother: Martha Parker), Dwayne Johnson (Mother: Martha Parker) and Keonti Futrell (Alanta) (Mother: Daisy Copeland Scott) one brother, James O. Parker (Geraldine) of Suffolk, VA; three sisters, Donna D Parker, Dorothy M. Parker, both of Suffolk VA, Sandra Samuel (Curtis) of Charlotte, NC; three uncles, Phillip Parker (Viola), William Collins (Evelyn), and Raleigh Collins (Lily); three aunts, Deloris Parker, Barbara Parker and Doris Parker (the Late Harvey Parker); beloved cousin, Eunice Taylor; lifelong friend, Lindell Hunter; 27 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held noon, Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Collins Family Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
