Alma Louise Flowers

On Saturday, 22, 2018, the angel of mercy silently and peacefully came into our midst and gave our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend eternal rest. Alma Louise Flowers, born April 9, 1926, was the only daughter of the late Carl Clyburn and Hattie Williams Giles. She retired from Eastway Animal Hospital after 21 years of faithful service. She was preceded in death by her son, Connie Baskins and grand-daughter, Bonita Beard. She leaves to cherish her many fond memories, her son, Willie James Baskins and daughter-in-law, late Ester Baskings of South Carolina; daughter, Lula B. Jackson of Virginia; brother, Ralph Duncan (Jean Duncan) of North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Nicole Jackson, Ford M. Jackson, Jr. (Nyoka Jackson), Kemberly Burris (Antwain Burris), Montrece McMullen (Willie McMullen), Nathan Baskins, Conray Baskins, Albert Baskins, Shaun Baskins, Vicki Raley, and a host of Great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. December 22, 2018 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of  Crocker Funeral Home.
