Alice Myrick

Alice Irene Myrick, 94, of Chisholm Lane transitioned Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Autumn Care of Suffolk. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Myrick and Jerry Myers. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lessie Mae Myrick; sons, William Leon Myrick, Moses Myrick, John Lee Myrick. Alice was a member of Rising St. James PCH where she served on the Usher Board, Helping Hands Committee, Pastors’ Aide, Flower Club and Secretary of the Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jeffrey Lynn Myrick (Sandra) of Suffolk, VA; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Myrick of Suffolk; god-daughter, Bernadette Branch of Suffolk; sister, Ethel Bolling of Suffolk; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Rising St. James PCH. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
