Aliesa Knight

Aliesa Knight, 51, was born on April 16, 1967 to the proud parents Regina Copeland and the late Leroy Knight in Suffolk, VA. She entered into eternal rest at Sentara Obici Hospital on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers the late Helen Marie Starks and Ida Mae Bailey and two special aunts the late Dorothy Robinson and Annie Maude Bazemore. Aliesa was a former member of St. Phillips Pentecostal Holiness. Later she became a member of Greater Sweet Beulah Apostolic Holiness Church where Bishop Madison Copeland was her Pastor. Aliesa leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Lee Anthony Whitfield; devoted, caring, strong and faithful mother,Regina Copeland, god brother, Elgin (Trey) Coplenad, III and two god sisters, Alayzia Armoni Ricks and Zi'myya Zhnae Paul;two close friend, Diane Jonesand Jenial Hopkins and a host of family and friends. A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Friday April 27 at St. Phillips Church and she will  be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
