Albert Lee Faulk

Albert Lee Faulk was born on June 14, 1937, in Suffolk Virginia, to the proud parents of Johnie Preston Faulk Sr. and Themla Faulk. Albert was pre-deceased by brothers and sisters, Junior Faulk (Hazel Faulk), Lee Faulk (Gloria Faulk), Theodore Faulk (Evelyn Faulk), Juanita Faulk, Howard Faulk (Nell Faulk) and Rose HorneHolland, Linnette F. Boone, Charles Horne. Brothers-in-law Haywood Whitehead and James Whitehead. Albert attended Nansemond County Training School in Suffolk Virginia. He moved to Brooklyn, New York where he married his sweetheart, Naomi Faulk. He was a loving and devoted husband for 47 years. Albert retired from Amtrak Railroads of New York City, after 28 years of service. He moved back to Suffolk Virginia with his wife Naomi, where he attended Crinth Chapel UCC. Albert aka Sweetie loved Baseball, Football and Basketball. His favorite team was the New York Mets. He enjoyed repairing things around the house and doing outdoor chores. He looked forward to having his scratch offs and playing the lottery. One of his past times he enjoyed was going to the gym with his brother Johnie. He was a quiet and gentle man, who loved to surround himself with family and friends. Albert leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, his loving devoted daughter Landa Faulk of Brooklyn, New York. A brother Johnie Preston Faulk Jr. (Marcel Faulk) of Suffolk, Virginia. A mother-in-law Mary Whitehead of Willingboro, New Jersey. Sisters-in-law Shirley Britt, Betty Cochran, Mary Whitehead and Faith Whitehead. Brothers-in-law Robert Whitehead, Ronald Holland and Levern Cochran. A host of nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces and great nephews and extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Corinth Chapel U.C.C. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
