Africa Bryant-Brown was born on August 27, 1973, to the late Alvin L. Bryant Sr and Cora Boone Bryant. She is a beloved daughter, sister, auntie friend.
She was a dedicated employee of QVC for 31 years. where she was known for her kind-hearted, loving, giving spirit and beautiful smile. She was known for always checking in on everyone to see if they were good.
She was very active in her St. Paul Church, where she worked on the Pastor Aid, Missionary Board, Kitchen Committee, and Altar worker.
She leaves to cherish her memory mother Cora Bryant, sister Gwendolyn Bryant, brothers Alvin Bryant Jr and Calvin Bryant, all of Suffolk, VA, grandmother Janice Boone, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Very special friends to Africa: Nita Harden, Valenia Ballard, Olivia Ford, Nina Jenkins. QVC special co-workers Shawn Sloan, Val Robinson, Tonya, Tia, Andra, Stacha Spriggs, and Susan Kerster.
A viewing will be held 2-7 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2025, in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at noon, Saturday, June 28, 2025, at St. Paul Church. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
