Brenda C. Briscoe

Brenda C. Briscoe, 65, of Suffolk transitioned Friday, November 17, 2017 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mae Etta Birscoe. She was preceded in death by her son Altron D. Briscoe.She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and retired from Ciba Chemical Company. She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church where she served as Deaconess. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter-in-law, Rosalyn Briscoe; five grandchildren; God daughter, Juanita Eley; nephew, Shaun Briscoe and other family and friends.A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2017 at St. Timothy Baptist Church. Bishop Carlton R. Upton, Sr. will deliver the eulogy. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
