Hope Tara Parham

Hope Tara Parham, 46 of Cedar Street, Suffolk, VA transitioned Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Suffolk. She was a native of Suffolk, VA and the daughter of Shirley Taylor and the late James Parham. She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. Hope was a member of St. Paul Church. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Ciara Parham of Portsmouth, VA; a son, Alton Parham (Krystle) of Suffolk; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Marilyn Skeeter (Elder Howard Lee) of Suffolk, Gloria Hunt (John) of Suffolk, Cynthia Riddick (Marvin) of Smithfield, VA and Shireen Barnes (Thomas) of Portsmouth, VA; three brothers, Kenneth Parham (Donna) of Suffolk, VA, Michael Parham (Shelby) of Newport News, VA and James Parham (Vickie) of Norfolk, VA; a devoted friend/fiancé, Deaver Varner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, October 2, 2017 at St. Paul Church officiated by Elder Harvey Lewis. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
