Bertha Lee Mann

Bertha Wilson Mann, 95, of Crittenden Road transitioned Monday, September 18, 2017 at Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late John Wesley Wilson and Annie Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Mann Sr. She was a member of Bibleway Evangelistic Tabernacle, Newport News, Virginia where she was the Church Mother. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Shirley Lee Willis of Suffolk, VA, Lillie Brinson (Bruce) of New Jersey and Gloria Wilson (Roosevelt) of Hampton, VA; six sons, Robert Lee Mann, Jr. of California, Earnest M. Mann of Portsmouth, Moses Mann of North Carolina, Bishop Wilbur H. Mann, Sr., (Gloria) of Hampton, Virginia, Rev. John W. Mann, Sr (Judy) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jerry J. Mann of Portsmouth, Va; sister, Annie Jane Boothe of Suffolk, Virginia; four brothers, Edward Wilson of Baltimore Maryland, Arthur Wilson of Connecticut, Luster Wilson of Baltimore, Maryland and Rev. Ollie Wilson of Lynchburg, VA.; 60 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; a host of great great grandchildren other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Little Bethel Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
