Paige Louise Bivins

Paige Louise Ricks Bivins was born May 8, 1936 to the late Estelle Ricks and James Robertson. She was born and raised in Suffolk, VA and departed this life on July 6, 2017. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Solid Rock of Apostolic Faith in Suffolk, VA where she was the General Musician, missionary and mother of the church. She was an East Suffolk High School Alumnus. She worked at Thomas J. Lipton Tea Company for 35 years and retired as a Quality Controller. She enjoyed having her family and friends around which brought her great joy.She was blessed with five daughters, which precedes her in death, Carmen Bivins, Kathy Bivins and Pamela Bivins.Left to cherish her memories: two daughters, Gwendolyn Bivins Bryant (Milton) and Ruth Holland (Ronnie) of Suffolk, VA; two stepdaughters, Vanessa Evans of Suffolk, and Shante Bivins-Harper (Terrence) of Chesapeake, VA; two stepsons, Carlton Bivins of Suffolk, VA and Kevin McDow (Gwen) of VA VB Beach, VA; five sisters, Ethel Johnson of Richmond, VA, Marjorie Roulhac of New Jersey, Serena Saunders (Harry), Victoria Poth and Beverly Tyson all of Suffolk, VA; twelve grandchildren (Zaneta, Greg, Roshawn, Tameka, Joseph, Sylvia, Monta, Ebony, Aaron, Arnisa, Rhonda, Ronnie); twenty-four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Faith Temple Ministries Apostolic Church, 476 Wellons Street, Suffolk, VA.
