Catherine Jones

Catherine Jones, 61, of Raleigh Avenue transitioned Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Suffolk, VA and the daughter of the late Harry Smith and Doretha Thorpe.She retired as newspaper carrier. Catherine was a member of First Baptist Church Orlando.She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Teashia Jones and April Jones both of Suffolk, VA; two sons, Larry Jones and Lavaris Jones both of Suffolk; godson, Cameo Williams of Suffolk; one sister, Levarn Tumbling of Suffolk, VA; two brothers, Albert Jones and Benny Jones (Beverly); seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, extended family and many close friends.A celebration of life will be held noon Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Melvin J.
