Andrea Lawrence

Our beautiful Reverend Andrea Lawrence entered into eternal peace on May 21, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through a brave battle. Yet even through her struggles, Andrea’s mission was to continue in ministry in preparing souls for Christ; while still possessing a contagious smile and entertaining sense of humor. Andrea faithfully served as an Associate Minister of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Andrea was born to the late Raymond and Gladys Hunt Lawrence. To carry on her legacy of love are her precious offspring, Brittany and Ryan Lawrence. She is survived by her siblings: William T. Hunt, Bessie Hunt, Gladys Faye Hunt, Pastor A. Ray Hunt (Cheryl), Vonnie L. Morrison (McKinley), Katrina L. Carty (Stefon), Pamela L. Reid (Greg), and Derek Lawrence. Andrea also leaves two awesome aunts, Mrs. Evelyn H. Copeland and Mrs. Virginia Parker, in addition to several nephews, nieces, and special friends. Her home going celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 24th at 12:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Dr. Anthony Copeland is the Senior Pastor.
