Eva Fisher Holloman

Eva F. Holloman, 83 of Browns Avenue, Ivor, VA transitioned Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at her residence. She was a native of Ivor and the daughter of the late William Fisher and Ruth Spratley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Holloman. She retired from Smithfield Packing Company. Mrs. Holloman was a member of Gilfield Baptist Church where she was an usher and on the Hospitality Committee. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Yvonne Uzzle (James Jr.) of Ivor, VA and Thelma Brown (James) of Portsmouth, VA; one sister, Louise Haskins (James) of Ivor, VA; one brother, Decatur Fisher (Marvin) of Ivor, VA; four grandchildren, Farrah Y. Uzzle, James D. Uzzle (Octavia), Shatunda and Lancee; three great grandchildren, Mekyla Uzzle, Ileara Uzzle and Aleigha Uzzle; other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon, Wednesday, May i10, 2017 at Gilfield Baptist Church, Ivor officiated by Rev. Elizabeth Jones. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
