Mamie J. Wiggins

Mamie J. Wiggins, 95, of South Main Street, Suffolk transitioned Thursday, December 29, 2016 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Florence Smith and Willis Jones. She is preceded in death by her husband George E. Wiggins. She leave to cherish her memory two daughters, Jean Riddick and Sylvia Wiggins both of Suffolk; four sons, Clifton Jones, George T. Wiggins (Beulah), Elliott L. Wiggins (Cheryl) all of Suffolk and Rev. William D. Wiggins (Mary) of Gates, NC; sister, Margaret Boone of Gates, NC; sister-in-law Lillian Jones of Suffolk, VA; 17 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at Palm Tree Baptist Church 8165 Whaleyville Blvd Suffolk.
