James Arthur Davis, Jr.

James A. Davis, Jr.,46, of Battery Avenue transitioned Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his residence. He is the son of the late Mary Lee Davis and James Arthur Davis, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Goodman. He was a graduate of John Yeates High School and attended Norfolk State University. He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Virginia V. Davis of Suffolk, Va; two sisters, Lisa Yates of Virginia Beach, VA and Rebecca Jordan of Suffolk, VA; one brother, Tremayne Davis of Landover Maryland; three nieces, Ja’Lisa Yates, Shalonda Goodman and Shavonda Goodman; two nephews, Joseph Yates and Wayne Jefferson, Jr.; cousins and friends. A celebration of life will 12:00 noon Monday, December 12, 2016 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Evangelist Willie Riddick will deliver the eulogy.
