Carl Wilson,59, of Broad Street transitioned Sunday, November 13, 2016 at his home with his family by his side. He was born September 5, 1957 in Smithfield, VA. The son of Doris Horton Wilson and the late Edward E. Wilson, Sr. He was preceded in death by his father Edward E. Wilson, Sr and brother Henry L. Wilson.He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Doris Horton Wilson of Suffolk, VA; daughter, Eboni West; four sons, Carl "Duke" Parrish, Duquan Wilson, Davante Wilson and Deandre Wilson; five granchildren; a special friend of 15 years Melanie Smith and a neigbor, Carolyn Rich; she was a leaning post for the family; five brothers, Edward E. Wilson Jr (Joy), John W. Wilson, Sr. (Fentre), Job Wilson (Elane), Charles R. Wilson (Carlene) and Coselletto Wilson; three sisters, Edith Wilson, Hazel Worsely (John) and Temple Kearney; two aunts, Carrie Edwards and Susie Johnson; two uncles, Paul and Henry Horton; one special sister-in-law, Trina Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thank you to Kindred at Home Hospice Care nurses and staff for the care of our love one.A memorial service will be held noon, Friday, November 18, 2016 in the Melvin J.
