Sandra Elizabeth Brown

Sandra Elizabeth Brown, 72, was born in Suffolk, Virginia on February 11, 1944 to Mr & Mrs. William E. Brown.Sandra attended the Richmond Public Schools and graduated as an honor student from Maggie L. Walker High School. She attended Virginia State College in Petersburg, Virginia and received her Bachelor's degree from Florida A & M. She later received her Master's degree from Maryland Sate University. Before retiring she worked as a counselor for the District of Columbia.Sandra was preceded in death by her father, William E. Brown, and grandmother, Eula C. Brown. She leaves to mourn her memory her mother, Mary H. Goode; two sisters, LaVerne Nicholson, Angela Goode; and a brother, Ernest Goode, Jr. (Linda); three nieces, Camile and Cheryl Goode and Cynthia Works (Gregory; one nephew, Darien Goode and two great nieces; Kylie and Kelsey Works.She also leaves to mourn her memory two very dear friends, Yvonne Lawson and Dr. Yevonne Shelton Smith and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated for over fifty years.A celebration of her life will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday November 4, 2016 in the Melvin J.
