Margie D. Norman

Margie Delores Norman, 70 of Newport News, VA transitioned Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Riverside Regional Hospital in Newport News, VA. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Willie White and Julia Ann Copeland White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maskel Riddick; two daughters, Muriel Norman and Betty Jean Norman; two sons, Eric Norman and Demetrius Norman; and sister Dorothy Chapman. She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Alice Norman Arrington, Malinda Norman, Tonya Norman, Donnika Norman all of Newport News, VA and Anita Goings (Antonio Johnson) of Hampton, VA; one son, Michael Norman of Suffolk, VA; one sister, Phyllis Ann Elliott of Suffolk; fourteen grandchildren, Dirus Norman of Newport News, VA, Montie Norman of Suffolk, VA, Jerome Norman of Newport News, VA, Vinette Davis of Suffolk, VA, Abdullah Norman, Percy Norman, Deonta Norman, all of Newport News, VA, Jasmine Norman of Henrico, VA, Demetrius Norman, Ketron Norman of Newport News, VA, Katron Norman of Portsmouth, VA, Antonio Goings, Orlando Goings and LaRon White of Hampton, VA; twenty-two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at Greater First Baptist Church Orlando officiated and eulogized by Rev. Eula Marshall and where Rev. Moses Ware is the Pastor.
