Ida Michelle Daughtrey-Faulk

Ida “Michelle” Daughtrey Faulk of the 1000 block of Custis Road, Suffolk, VA was called home to live with her Heavenly Father on Monday, September 19, 2016. Michelle was born on March 25, 1958 in Suffolk, VA to the late James Otis Daughtrey and Helen Virginia Figgs Daughtrey. She graduated with the 1976 class of John F. Kennedy High School and received her B.S. Degree with honors in 1980 in Early Childhood Education from Norfolk State University. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Steven Lazon Faulk, Sr. and her sister, Brenda Carnice Daughtrey. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Steven L. Faulk, Jr. and Kahlil Javaar Daughtrey-Holden; three sisters, Virginia “Gin” Ashburn of Suffolk, Rhonda Daughtrey Lambert (Romeo, Jr.) of Chesapeake, VA, Sharon Daughtrey of Suffolk; one grandchild, Veronica Faulk Wilder; other relatives and friends.. The body will be placed in the church at 12:00 noon and the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Metropolitan Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Robert Hobbs officiating.
