Kenneth Ricks

On Monday Evening around 5:46 p.m. September 5, 2016. Our beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend Kenneth Ricks,61, was called home to be with the Lord, while being a patient at V.C.U Hospital in Richmond, VA. He was the sixth son of ten children. Born to the late Willie Ricks, Sr and Ethel Mae Artis Ricks on June 18, 1955 in Suffolk, VA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Lee Ricks and sister, Florence Lee Ricks.He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Ms. Charlene Harrell of Portsmouth, VA; three grandchildren; six brothers, Willie Ricks, Sr, Ronald Ricks, Gregory Ricks, Garland Ricks, Sr. (Sylvia), Leon Ricks (KayKay) and Michael Ricks; sister, Linda Mare Ricks Artis; one sister-in-law whom he loved as a sister, Hattie Jennie) Ricks, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
