Evelyn J. Evans

Mrs. Evelyn Jane Evans,56, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 11, 2016, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born on January 9, 1960, in Suffolk, to the late Evelyn Jane Simms Evans and Johnnie A. Evans. Evelyn attended Paul D. Camp Community College and P. D. Pruden Vocational Center. She was a C.N.A. Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory her husband, James E. Wilson of Portsmouth; two daughters, Dominique Wilson and Angelina Goodman; five sisters, Barbara J. Wilkiins, Sandra E. Myrick (Jeffery), Earha R. Bullock (Wayne), Shelia Evans and Sharon D. Evans; three brothers, Johnnie M. Evans, Larry Evans and James M. Evans; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, July 16, 2016 at St. Timothy Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
