Barbara A. Scott

Barbara A. Scott, 78 of Dorset Way, Suffolk, VA transitioned Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Sentara Obici Hospital. She was a native of Southampton County and the daughter of Charlie Scott and Gladys Faltz Scott. She retired from domestic work after 30 years. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Diane Bailey and Serena Hendricks both of Suffolk; three sons, Mack Scott (Bonnie), Donald Scott and Arthur Scott all of Suffolk; two sisters, Mary Hall of New York and Maurice Reid Scott of Corapeake, NC; twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Sue Scott and Gloria Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Melvin Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.
