Thurman Boone

Thurman Boone, 72 of 219 Prospect Road died Saturday, June 11, 2016. He was a native of Nansemond County and the son of the late Lethia M. Boone. He was a self-employed painter. He leaves to cherish his memory four sisters, Geneva B. Boone (Cleveland) of North Prince George, Geraldine Clark (Valious) of Richmond, VA, Lolethia Boone of Hampton, VA and Ira Boone of Suffolk, VA; other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home officiated by Suffragan Bishop Madison G. Copeland. Interment will be in Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. Professional services have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
