On Saturday, May 14, 2016, our Lord and Savior came and gave Herbert Faulk Jr. his wings.Herbert was born in Philadelphia, Pa on November 17, 1965 to the late Herbert Faulk, Sr & Carolyn E. Faulk-Watson.He attended private school in Philadelphia. In the early 70's his family moved to Sicklerville, N.J.where he completed his education in the Winslow Public School System. Herb got his CDL and started driving tractor trailers. He later became a "Jack of All Trades" from fixing cars to climbing trees.Herbert was very popular and was loved by everyone! He was known for his sayings. "Hey Baby!" was the one phrase he said repeatedly along with "And You Know!"Herb was one of a kind, and he will truly be missed by everyone he touched.Herbert knew the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He attended Open Bible Baptist before becoming a founding member of CCU Missionary Baptist Church in Sicklerville, NJ. Herb had his own special relationship with God. In 2012 he rededicated his life to Christ.Herb is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Faulk, Sr., mother, Carolyn E. Faulk-Watson, grandmother, Isabel Hairston and aunt Lola Darlene Mace.Herb leaves to cherish his memory, his loving, devoted "Good" wife Barbara Faulk, one son Christian Brandon Faulk, Sr., his loving daughters that he adored Janea Alisha Faulk ("his homie") and Sabria Monet Faulk ("his home slice"), two grandsons Christian Brandon Faulk, Jr., Shyheir Johnson; three sisters, Lorri Hairston-Pridgen (Dwayne Pridgen, Sr), Evelina Copeland, Meredith Butts; two brothers, Christopher Watson, Reginal McRae; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; God mother, Ms. Carmella, his favorite Aunt Thelma and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, He also leaves to mourn three special friends, Mark Johnson David Bey, and Guuy Shamwell. Last but not least mans best friend "Tahoe".He will be laid to rest in Faulk family cemetery, Saturday, May 28,2016.
