Columbus Ebron was born to late Elizabeth and Haywood Ebron August 16, 1951. He retired as a Nuclear Painter at Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 35 years of faithful and dedicated service.He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Annette Ebron of Suffolk; daughter, Tracy Gales of Tampa, Florida; two sons, Allen Ebron (Ferlisa) of Atlanta, GA and Michael Ebron (Shannon) of St. Louis, Missouri; two sisters, Geraldine Holoman (Vernon) and Armintha E. Hicks; two brothers, Alvin Ebron (Juanita) and Wayne Ebron; five grandchildren; Marcel Riddick Sykes-sister-in-law of Newport News, Chareese Riddick of Newport News, DeAndre Holtz, Bryana Gales of GA, Jarrett D. Mims, Buffalo, NY, Mykinthia Ebron (CO) and Skylar Ebron.A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
