Mary Alston

Mary Nell Alston, 90 of Lawson Circle, Suffolk, VA transitioned on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Matthew and Ruth Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alston. She retired after 38 years at Planters as a Sanitation worker. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Barbara Alston and Brenda Holland both from Suffolk; one grandchild and three great grandchildren; a special niece, Almeta Morris (Edward); special nephew, Elbert Williams, Jr. (Tameka Green); other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at United Full Gospel Revival Center officiated by Apostle Dallas Ellis. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
