Mary "Liz Allen" Mayfield Johnson, 89,  of 4869 Sleepy Hole Road, Suffolk, VA slept away to her eternal home on Monday, April 18, 2016.She was the daughter of the late Noah and Mary Allen. She was a member and the mother of Little Zion Baptist Church 4701 Sleepy Hole Road, Suffolk.She is survived by two daughters, Mary Peoples (William) of Suffolk and JoAnn White (James) of Chesapeake; four sons, Herman Mayfield, Sr. (Cornelia), Rev. Keith Mayfield, Sr. both of Suffolk, Donald Mayfield, Sr. (Marchelle) and Kevin Mayfield both of Portsmouth; other relatives and friends.A homegoing service will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Little Grove Baptist Church, 6320 Old Townpoint Road, Suffolk. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 24 from 4-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
