Sandra W. Jackson

Sandra W. Jackson peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18, 2016. Sandra was born on March 2, 1961 in Suffolk, VA to the late Mary Frances Eason and Charlie Deloatch.She attended John Yeates High School where she graduated in the "Class of 79".Sandra was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, God-mother and faithful friend to all. She was very proud of her grandchildren and loved them very much. She was a very happy, caring, independeent, and giving woman. In spite of her own health condition, she dedicated her life to helping anyone in need. She spent most of her time making people happy, preparing delicious meals, and shining her light in the lives of every child she came in contact with.She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Starlynda Jackson-Bryant (Gerald); sons, Jeffrey Jackson, Jr. (Krist); her stepdad, Willie Eason, Jr.; two sisters, Melanie Copeland, Angela Elam (Ernest); two brothers, Michael Williams (Sandra) and Daniel Eason; grandchidlren, DeMarcus, DeMia DeMarz, Jakayla, Kendryk, Amontae, and Demonta; special companions, Jeffrey Jackson, Sr., Velma Harris (God-Sister); nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, God-children, God-sisters and brothers and a host of family and friends.A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Tabernacle Baptist Outreach Center 3621 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk, Virginia 23435. Rev. Jermaine Scates will deliver the eulogy. Rev. Trevon D. Boone, Pastor. She will be laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
