Wilbur B. Watts

Wilbur B. Watts, 61 of Reno Street, Suffolk, VA died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Norfolk, VA and the son of Melvin Watts and Beulah C. Watts. He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Terry’ne Askew Watts; three daughters, Vita Watts of Suffolk, VA, Asheema Wilkins of Smithfield, VA and Ashley Askew of Suffolk, VA; two sons, Lashay Franklin of Tampa, FL and Tony Johnson of Portsmouth, VA; six grandchildren; foster sister, Evelyn C. Brown (Frederick) of North Dinwiddie; mother-in-law, Mary Askew; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at East End Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jarvis Jones. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
