Zenobia Bryant

Zenobia Hunt Bryant, 81 died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was a native of Nansemond County and the daughter of the late Richard Hunt and Doris Riddick Hunt. She attended Suffolk Public Schools. She was a former employee of Lacy’s – Copeland Drive-In. Ms. Bryant was a member of St. Paul Church where she was a member of the Pastor’s Aidee and Senior Choir. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Susan McGee (Henry) of Albany, GA and Mazie Ford (Michael) of Suffolk, VA; three sons, Leroy Bryant, Jr. (Gisela) of Fayetteville, NC, Ronald Bryant of Suffolk, VA and Rev. Anthony Bryant (Velma) of Suffolk, VA; three sisters, Doris Johnson, Charlotte Bates and Barbara Beale all of Suffolk; seventeen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; sister-in-law, Mae C. Brodie of Suffolk, VA and Patricia Sullivan of New York; other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Paul RZUA Church officiated by Rev. Anthony Bryant. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home, Inc.
