Yolanda Michelle Hollomon

Yolanda Michelle Hollomon, 29 of 426 Windstone Trail, Alpharetta, GA passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Suffolk, VA and the daughter of Charlie Lee Hollomon, Sr. and Tammy Michelle Hollomon. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Alvin Hollomon and William Copeland; aunts, Mary Curtis, Alberta Thompson and Tiffany Copeland. She was a graduate of Gates County High School in 2005 and received the Certificate of Honor for Who’s Who Among American High School Students for the year 2002. She was a flag girl, member of the DECA Club and in the Youth Explosion, Inc. Dynamic Organization. As time progressed, she went to Point University of Atlanta majoring in Christian Ministries where she received an Associate of Science Degree. She was employed at (AAF) American Air Filter. Yolanda was a member of C3 Church of Lawrenceville, GA .  She re-enrolled to get her B.S. Degree in Human Services and would have graduated in May 2016. Yolanda also enjoyed praise dancing. She was getting ready to enroll in Divine Visitation International Church Worship Art of Ministries Team. Besides her parents, she leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Charlene Rochelle Hollomon of Clarkston, GA; one brother, Charlie Lee Hollomon, Jr. (Cherry) of Suffolk, VA; grandmothers, Annie Louise Hollomon and Dorothy Mae Copeland both of Suffolk; great grandmother, Margie Copeland of Zuni, VA; uncles, William Copeland, Terrence Copeland,  and William Saunders (Pam) Alvin Hollomon, Jr., Frankie Hollomon; aunts, Teresa Copeland Harper (Anthony) and Tamika Copeland;  nephews, Christian Hollomon and Christopher Hollomon;  great uncles and aunts; and a host of cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held Noon, Saturday January 16, 2016 at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries. Rev. Ronnie Boone will deliver the eulogy, Bishop Viola Parker is the Overseer.
