William T. Cross

William Terrence "Terry" Cross, 49, of 209 St. James Avenue, Suffolk, Virginia transitioned into eternal rest on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was the son of the late George L. Cross, Sr. and Luverta Goodman-Cross.He was a native of Nansemond County and  born  on November 6, 1966. he was a 1986 graduate of Forest Glen High School.He leaves to cherish in his memory, daughter, Aimee Monet Cross of Suffolk, Virginia; three brothers, George Lee Cross, Jr. (Veral), Larry Goodman (Etta) and Clarence Smith all of Suffolk, VA; three sisters, Catherlene Smith of Surry County, VA, Luvenia Ross (Richard), and Georgia Mae Redding, all of Suffolk, Virginia; granddaughter. He loved dearly his granddaughter, Taelor and grandson, Tayler of Suffolk, Virginia. He will be truly missed by a special nephew, Antoine Goodman; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.The family will receive visitors at the home of Mrs. Luvenia Ross 125 Lawson Circle, Suffolk, Virginia 23434.A celebration of life will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, January 14, 2016 at New Gospel Temple C.O.G.I.C 236 Mineral Spring Road, Suffolk, VA 23438.
