Eloise C. Holloway

Eloise C. Holloway, 73 of Ivor, VA died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was a native of Southampton County and the daughter of the late Floyd Robert Clark and Margaret W. Clark. She was a graduate of Hayden High School in Franklin, VA. She retired from General Electric Company and also worked at Gwaltney Meat Company. She was a member of New Branch Baptist Church where she was a member of the mass choir. Eloise was a member of the Young Farmers Club and the American Cancer Society. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Harold Holloway, Sr (Teri) of Raleigh, NC and Carl L. Holloway, Sr of Suffolk; four grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Clark (Brenda) of Wakefield, VA and Robert Clark of Stafford, VA; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at New Branch Baptist Church, Ivor, VA officiated by Pastor Frank L. Aikens. Her mortal remains will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Gilfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor.
