Carlton Dwayne Kearney Sr., 43, of Suffolk Meadows Blvd transitioned on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at his residence. He is the son of Mitchell Kearney, Sr. and Debra Pierce-Kearney. He was a native of Suffolk and a graduate of Suffolk High School. Wayne was a Marine Reservist and attended Paul D. Camp Community College. He was currently employed with Greenbrier Dodge and the proprietor of All About Auto Detailing.He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Mitchell Kearney, Sr., and Debra Pierce-Kearney; three daughters, Carlia D. Kearney, Kayla A. Lee and Kyla Lee; two sons, Carlton Baker and Carlton D. Kearney, Jr.; five sisters, Florine Jones, Latisha Mosley, Sheikia Daniels, Karissa Daniels and Janiya Kearney; six brothers, Mitchell B. Kearney, Jr., Ji-Kimba T. Kearney, Lu-Tarkim Y. Kearney, Abdullah H. Kearney, Ra-Keem Daniels and Mitchell B. Kearney, II; one grandson Carl Dwayne Baker II; 7 nephews; 9 nieces; 8 uncles; 6 aunts; and a host of cousins and friends.A celebration of life will be held 1:00 P.M Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Faith Temple Ministries Apostolic, 476 S. Wellons Street. Pastor Troy Ruffin will deliver the eulogy. He will be laid to rest in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
