Marin “Mario” WilkinsMarin “Mario” Wilkins, 27 of 210 North Street, Suffolk, VA died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Suffolk, VA and the son of Kenneth Harris (Audrey) and Leila Wilkins Drayton (Eric).He attended Lakeland High School and Tidewater Community College. He was employed at Integrated Electrical Services.He leaves to cherish his memory one son, D’Marian Wilkins; fiance’, Atondra Allgood; one sister, Kristie Harris; six brothers, Darry Wilkins of Enon, PA, Corey Wilkins of LA, Keith Robinson, Latron Winnegan, Kevin Powell all of Suffolk and Kashawn Harris of Clinton, MD; paternal grandmother, Catherine Harris of Suffolk; maternal grandmother, Catherine Wilkins; maternal grandfather, Marilyn Wilkins;; special friends, Derrick Silver, Jr. “D.J.” and Victor Council; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2014 at new Mt. Joy Food For Living Ministries officiated by Rev. Robert Wilkins. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
