She was a native of Winter Haven, FL and the daughter of Ozzie Washington Johnson and the late Willie Lee Penden.She attended Thomas Nelson Community College. She was employed as a Technical Engineer at NASA Visitor Center at Langley Naval Weapon Station.She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Ozzie Johnson of Newport News, VA; two sons, Dwayne Johnson of California and Wayne Johnson of Newport News, VA; one sister, Joanne Washington Cooper of Sumpter, SC; brothers, Charles (Bully) Johnson of Suffolk, VA, Arthur Lee Washington, Newuit Washington, Jr. both of Newport News, VA and Edward (Eddie) Johnson of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren, Jasmin Johnson, Devin Johnson, Kai Johnson, Kiana Johnson, and Arisa Johnson; great grandchildren, Makaree Lee and Makiyah Cooper; other relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home.
