He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph N. Parker; uncle, William A. Baker, Sr. and cousin, DeShawn O. Parker.He attended Lakeland High School and was employed as a HVAC technician.Besides his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory six sisters, Barbara Sherrill (Ward), Jacqueline Rawlings both of Suffolk, Portia Wilson of Westlee Chapel, FL, Loretta Funnye of Bronx, NY, Tamara Claude of Franklin, VA and Kess Schoonmaker of Raleigh, NC; five brothers, Brian L. Williams of Butner, NC, Michael Rawlings of Wilson, SC, William Johnson of Suffolk, VA, Dennis Johnson of Newport News, VA, Christian and Tyler Springer; uncles, Anthony J. Parker (Deborah), Willie B. Parker, Clayton W. Parker (Janice) all of Suffok, Ganesh J. Parker (Jeanette) of AL and Eddie D. Woodley; aunts, Audrey Darden of Syracuse, NY, Linda M. Parker, Paula P. Woodley, Valerie B. Baker all of Suffolk; great aunts, Catherine B. Skinner (James) and Alma B. Wright (Raymond); special niece, Byrani J. Williams; a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends.A homegoing service will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at New Pauls Temple Church of Deliverance.Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
